With the year-end approaching and needing to use the chunk on change sitting in our health care FSA account, it was time to get a couple of new pairs of specs. Here are the two I picked out. Mary Beth, Micah and I returned earlier this evening from Michigan after spending a few days with Mary Beth's family. We had a great time but are glad to be back. There is truly no place like home. During our trip we boarded Rubix at the Pet's hotel in Aurora. We returned to the following message on our answering machine: Hi Allwyn, this is _______ from the Pet's hotel in Aurora. I just wanted to call and let you know that Rubix is doing great; he had a great time during play time with the other dogs. However, after today we are going to schedule him for individual play time. He... um um... got a little aggressive with another dog... um um... he is a... um um... aggressive humper and so we are going to have to schedule him for individual playtime. Please give me a call if you would like to talk further,

I've taken a rather long hiatus from blogging the last few months. For the simple reason that my ability to post on my blog is inversely proportional to the amount of work I've had to slog through lately. However, I'm on vacation from 12/18 to 1/5 and am really trying to make sure I disconnect from work as best as I can. In order to ensure that I am able to enjoy at least some time off I've asked my son to step in. Nepotism? Perhaps. At least he's keeping my chair warm.  Write Comment (0 comments) |
