We're back home. The blogging was light due to connectivity issues. Here are some assorted v-clips from nassau. These were taken on the camera so the quality leaves a little to be desired Write Comment (1 comments) |

Our flight out here was for the most part uneventful. Micah was calm and quiet for 88.8888888889% of it , he did throw a few fits; just before he fell asleep and when he had to have his diaper changed in the very cramped airplane bathroom. The other passengers may not even have realized there was a baby on board were it not for those few minutes. I do need to send a few shout outs to some of them: • To the family that sat right behind us, thank you so much for keeping Micah entertained. You guys rock! If we run into you on this island, we’ll take you up on your offer to babysit. • To the fruitcake flight attendant. I don’t even know what to say about this flamboyant freak. He sat in the last seat of the plane for most of the flight and plugged his ears and said ‘whaaaaaaaaa’ when Micah decided he did not want to lay down on the changing table in the bathroom. My son at 10 months is more mature than this 45 year-old chucklehead. Dude, if you had a better attitude someone would have told you that you had food on your chin the whole time. • To the other flight attendant, thanks for going the extra mile; for rinsing out Micah’s bottle and for the extra apple juice. • To the older couple from Glen Ellyn who sat beside us and gave us the ‘look’ whenever Micah cried. As it turns out they were next to us on the bus ride to the hotel too. Just your luck we thought, don’t hit the casinos this weekend. Interestingly though, during our conversation in the bus they let us know they were very impressed with how well behaved Micah was in the plane. Go figure. • To the middle-aged couple directly in front of us, sorry to have intruded on your sleep time. But who sleeps on a 12:30 pm flight? And because I didn’t appreciate your furtive little glances between the seats to check out my family, I do have to send a shout out your way. Here’s a clue pal, the next time you buy fake designer eyewear, remember this, Dolce and Gabbana is spelled with one ‘c’. So there you have it, that was our flight out to Nassau, all in all not bad at all. | One final snack before boarding the plane | | Of all the toys we brought, the little green spoon was his favorite | | In-flight nap

| | Another lesson learnt. It's really not necessary to purchase any toys, babies can be amused by the simplest things. Here's Micah having the best of times with just his glass. | | | Write Comment (2 comments) |
