Last weekend we attended a surprise graduation party for a very good friend of ours, Rebecca. Congratulation Rebecca! This was a Hawaii themed party complete with leis, cut out palm trees, bamboo torches, hawaiian food, a volcano cake, authentic Polynesian dancers and a few wannabes. Write Comment (0 comments) |

The English Premier league season is finally over. Although Arsenal came in fourth place in the EPL, my team FC Rubix took first place in the Palatine league. This was my first season participating in the EPL fantasy league, actually my first time participating in any fantasy league. Hummm, I wonder if I should start thinking about a career change? Managing FC Rubix was an awful lot of fun. Write Comment (0 comments) |

Though the numbers vary, it''s a fact that IT projects have one of the highest failure rates across all industries. Failure being defined as either over budget, over time, not meeting requirements or a combination of any of those items. A project I''ve been involved with which had been stuck in design phase for a few years now, has recently moved into development. And yet suprising we are still way under budget. Poor planning is often one of the main causes for failure, however in this case I think the project has been rather well planned and executed. After all, I am the project manager. I''m glad to say we are finally making some real progress. Write Comment (0 comments) |
