An absolutely awesome friday. The weather was just perfect and to top it all off I got in the first golf outing of the year. Played a quick 9 holes with Morrison after work before heading home. Not having picked up a club since late last year I took some rather embarrassing hacks. But I did get off two awesome drives on the 8th and 9th holes, a few nice long putts and only lost 3 balls. All in all just an awesome day. Write Comment (0 comments) |

Easter at the Orchard ... freezing weather, four services, a helicopter, thousands of eggs, great music, relevant message. All for one simple reason... to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Check out more pictures at the Orchard blog and the Beacon. Let me know if you can spot my mug in any of those pictures. Write Comment (0 comments) |

Whenever I''ve been tasked with posing a question to a group of people and gathering their answers to determine a course of action I''ve always relied on emails and a spreadsheet. Here''s a great site to help you do just that without having to read and track all the responses. CircleUp allows you to pose a question(s) in an email or IM, and get back a single organized result. It allows you to pose questions in a variety of formats; choices, suggestions, rating, ranking, and you can import users from your address book. Responses to your questions can either be private or public. You can look forward to receiving an email from CircleUp from me if you''re a member of a group I''m tasked with gathering a decision from. Write Comment (0 comments) |

I''m not sure if this is an april fools joke but a company in California has just released the world''s first spiritual perfume, Virtue. According to the press release: ORANGE, CA (April 3, 2007) - The world''s first spiritual perfume - Virtue - was Premiered this week by IBI, a niche fragrance company in Orange, CA. Based upon an inspired Biblical formula, the perfume is designed to be a reminder of God, Christ, spiritual self and soul.
''We turned to the Bible to seek inspiration about which items to include and became convinced that a formulation would reveal itself,'' explains Rick Larimore, IBI''s chief executive officer. ... Definately one of the more bizzare things I''ve discovered on the web Write Comment (0 comments) |
